Bad Skincare Habits that you should Stop doing
Bad Skincare Habits are really hard to break but we need to stop doing it for us to achieve the skin complexion that we want.
You’re wondering why you’re not yet achieving the skin complexion that you want even if using luxurious skincare products if it is not because of the product the reason will fall on what you do every day.
Let’s look at the Bad Habit that you should get rid of as soon as possible
Not removing makeup before sleeping
No matter how tired you are after a long day be sure to remove your makeup because even if it is hypoallergenic, it is not meant to stay on your face overnight. Imagine if you don’t wash off your face. Bacteria, dirt, oil, dead skin, pollutants, and germs that accumulate all day will sit on your face while you sleep. Yikes! It can definitely cause clogged pores and acne breakout
Using dirty makeup brushes and a sponge
Not cleaning your makeup brushes and sponge can cause bacterial infection and clogged pores too. Make sure to clean them once every 3 weeks.
Not using the Right Products
We have different types of skin and you should use the right products for your skin type. Not doing so can cause dryness, oiliness, breakouts, and clogged pores.
Skipping Sunscreen
Never ever skip applying sunscreen before going outside no matter what the weather is. It helps to protect the skin from harmful UV rays that can cause skin cancer. Even if you’re at home you still need to wear sunscreen.
Drinking too much Alcohol and Smoking
Smoking can cause premature aging of your skin and can cause dullness and uneven skin tone while too much drinking of alcoholic beverages can cause skin dehydration and inflammation that can cause redness.
Not Drinking enough Water
Using a moisturizer is not enough, you have to drink plenty of water. If your body cannot get the right amount of water intake, it can make skin look drier, flakier, wrinklier, and just not as fresh, dewy, and youthful as we like.
Not Enough Sleep
I know that most of us don’t get enough sleep during these days because of our busy schedule due to work or school however if there is an opportunity to get enough sleep, grab it! It helps to produce more collagen, boost blood flow to the skin for a glowing complexion the next day, and help to achieve a healthier look.
Touching your Face and Popping Zits
We usually touch our face every now and then, which is why some bacteria and germs can end up in our face because it is not 100% all the time that our hands are clean.
One more thing is popping zits in our face– this is very tempting to do, this can cause acne scars and blemishes. Popping zits can give us a higher chance of getting skin infections because it pushes the bacteria deeper into the pores.
