YOU SHOULD ONLY WEAR SUNSCREEN EVERY SUMMER OR WHEN GOING OUT
Most of us believed in this, that's why sunscreen is very in demand every summer season. But did you know that even if it is not summer, even if you're just inside your house you should wear a sunscreen? Why? Because Ultraviolet lights doesn't take a break and neither should you! This is one of the best thing that you can do for the health of your skin.
EXPENSIVE PRODUCTS ARE MUCH MORE EFFECTIVE
This is definitely not true according to dermatologist. Not all expensive products works better than the cheaper one. It's all about formulation! So, the best thing that you can do is to learn about and seek out active ingredients that are best for your skincare routine and read the label because sometimes you are paying a high price just because of its packaging and brand name and not because of the ingredients.
DRINKING WATER KEEPS YOUR SKIN HYDRATED
Well drinking water is really good for our health but it is said that drinking more or less water is harmful or helpful to our skin. The water that you drink will not be absorbed directly by your skin since it hydrates our cells as it is absorbed by the bloodstream and filtered by the kidneys, which does help hydrate our bodies overall. If you want to keep your skin hydrated then you should use a humidifier to avoid dry air, use a gentle cleanser, and use a moisturizer daily. You can use products with hyaluronic acid since it helps to lock the moisture on your skin barrier.
PORES CAN OPEN AND CLOSE
Your pores are not like shutter that can open and close. According to dermatologists this is a type of incorrect terminology that refers to the pores dilating, or becoming stretched out, which can occur due to age, temperature, and genetics, combined with them being clogged with dirt and oil. The best thing in minimizing the look of pores is regular exfoliation.
YOU SHOULD WAIT UNTIL AGE OF 50 TO USE RETINOL
It is ideal to start using retinol in your mid-late 20s in order to prevent damage from occurring. Retinol can increase collagen production and skin cell turnover, help treat acne, unclog pores, minimize fine lines and wrinkles, and even out skin tone. It’s easier to prevent a wrinkle than get rid of one!
